Drug-resistant infections more likely to strike women, says WHO

The WHO added four pathogens to its list of the most dangerous drug-resistant bacteria, based on their frequency, deadlines, and prevention measures. The additions include three streptococcal bacteria and a highly resistant tuberculosis strain, which are linked to high disease burdens and expensive treatment.
